Advanced 3D Modeling & Look Dev

  • Technical Modeling: Built the device from the ground up in Cinema 4D, ensuring every radius and port was modeled to exact scale. Special attention was paid to the “sculpted” nature of the camera bump, which is milled from a single piece of glass.

  • Material & Look Dev: Created complex shaders to differentiate between the various glass finishes and the anodized aluminum frame. I utilized layered textures to simulate the subtle depth and reflectivity found in modern consumer electronics.

  • Rendering: Executed the final render with a focus on depth of field and high-dynamic-range (HDR) lighting to give the model a sense of weight and physical presence.
