A deeply personal photography and concept art project dedicated to the legacy of Kobe and Gianna Bryant. The work serves as a tribute to the “Mambacita” brand, exploring the profound bond between a father and daughter through the shared language of basketball.

More than a sport

  • To start, I curated a mood board of high-fashion and athletic imagery, focusing on minimalist compositions, bold typography, and emotive silhouettes. This established a foundation that blended high-performance sportswear aesthetics with a soulful, human element.

Close to home

Directed and executed a custom photoshoot within a home studio environment. Technical attention was paid to dramatic, high-contrast lighting to evoke both the intensity of the sport and the solemnity of the tribute.

A poignant visual narrative that successfully bridges the gap between professional portraiture and corporate brand storytelling. The final assets stand as a tribute to the enduring connection between parents and children, using the sport of basketball as a vehicle for legacy, remembrance, and the appreciation of the present moment.
